MASTERING ADHESION DENTISTRY
Dr. Bertolotti has been credited with single handedly changing the face of dentistry. His formula is highest quality, efficient, esthetic, minimally invasive dentistry. Adhesion replaces tooth destruction. This one day program will put you on the fast-track to making many changes. Give patients more of what they want and less of what they don’t want while providing you better hourly returns, doing stress-free dentistry.
Raymond L. Bertolotti received his D.D.S. degree from the University of California, San Francisco, after working as a Ph.D. metallurgical and ceramic engineer at Sandia National Laboratories. He is currently Clinical Professor in Biomaterials Science at the University of California and conducts a private practice in San Leandro . Much of his private practice is involved with conservative crown and bridge techniques and adhesion dentistry.
Dr. Bertolotti is perhaps best known for introducing “total etch” to North America in 1984. He also introduced Caries Detector in 1984, Panavia in 1985, tin plating in 1989 and self-etching primers in 1992. The sectional Contact Matrix system, “Microprime”, “Microetcher” sandblasting and intraoral tin-plating are also his innovations.
Dr. Bertolotti has published extensively in journals such as the American Dental Association, International Journal of Prosthodontics, Journal of Dental Research and Quintessence International, as well as authoring four dental textbook chapters. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dental Materials, a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy , and an Accredited member of the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is also on teh Reality Editorial team. He is a well known international lecturer, having invitations to present lectures in over 30 countries.

Dental Practice Act Course Description:
Yes you van fight city hall. Don’t like a Dental Board rule? Want to do something about it? The course will integrate the Board’s rule making process as the required elements of Section 1017(a) are discussed. Individual cases of dentists, names changed to protect the innocent, whose licenses have been suspended or revoked, will be given as case studies. Will you agree with the board’s decision or would you have voted differently? Become a California Dental Board Member for a day, actually two hours, and see how difficult some of the board’s decisions are to make. It’s not as easy as you think! Warning: This course will require active interaction from all participants and will challenge your current thoughts about the Dental Board.
